Easter Tablescape

Taking the Spring Tablescape from the blog hop to Easter was pretty simple.  I already had a good theme going with the yellow and green colors, and a few vintage rabbits.

Last year I got these Easter crackers to have for the gals at the office.  But alas, the party I had planned to surprise them was not to be.  The little bunny faces and cotton tails are pretty cute though.

I switched out the yellow flower plates with some really cute Easter Egg plates.  I’ve not used these, other than to set them out and photograph them.  They are a discontinued pattern at Pier 1, you all know how much I love that store.  No affiliation, yada yada.

Putting the bunny crackers together with the egg plates and the setting now says Easter is here.

I added little rabbit planters filled with eggs to the centerpiece.  There is one on each side of the yellow ceramic basket.

The crackers will also stand up, adding dimension to the table and you can see their little cotton tails.

  1. Love your Easter Egg Plate!

  2. Good luck with your auction! The plates are cute and colorful. I enjoy seeing your tablescapes. Your charming vintage pieces appeal to me a bit more than the more contemporary pieces. Will enjoy seeing what you do when you have to “pack up and ship” the plates. 🙂

  3. How adorable! I always find something I can’t live without at Pier 1.

  4. Since our daughters had children, we are never around on Easter so I thoroughly enjoy seeing the tables others of you do for Easter.

  5. What an easy switch that added such charm!!!

  6. Grandchildren live out of state and have already had spring break from school, so it’s just hubby and me waiting for the Easter bunny!! Love your tablescape. I’ve seen your yellow glass basket before and have serious basket envy over that one!!! Thanks for the tour around your table top wonderland!

  7. We will be hosting our extended family for Easter dinner. Always a favourite time of year. We are currently enjoying a spring snowstorm, but the weather should be much more agreeable in two weeks time.

  8. I love your Easter table, especially the egg plates. I’ve made my egg purchase for this year, though — earrings. They take up very little space. We haven’t even discussed Easter! Up till now, we’ve always been to big family gatherings before we moved or had a few people in after moving.

  9. All so pretty. Those egg plates and the green ones are perfect. All adorable.

  10. In Italy we say “Natale con i tuoi, Pasqua con chi vuoi” that means something like “Christmas with your family, Easter with whoever you want”. But for me Easter too is with my family, so we’ll have an alfresco party in the garden of our little countryhouse! I hope for a warm and sunny day 🌞

  11. The bunny crackers are so cute! I know it’s hard to part with special plates, good for you!

  12. I loved the spring table . . and those Easter plates! I’m a little envious here. The bunny crackers are so adorable, I’ve not seen anything like them – where did you find those? Thanks for sharing with us at Brag About It! Pinned.

  13. Love your Easter egg plates. I haven’t seen those before anywhere.

  14. That simple switch added lots of whimsy! I’ve been avoiding Pier 1 because I have zero willpower when I go in there. I may have to make an exception to check out their Easter decor. Thank you for sharing with us at Celebrate Your Story, and I hope you’re having a great weekend.

  15. I have two little rabbit planters similar to yours that I usually put in each of my kid’s rooms. I think they will grace the Easter table this year. Thanks for the idea.

  16. The bunny crackers are just adorable! Thank you for sharing your lovely tablescape @Vintage Charm!
