A Note About Bloglovin’ and a new header

Do you use Bloglovin to follow From My Carolina Home?  If so, please make sure you are actually following my blog and not me personally.  I do not know how readers find this Bloglovin page instead of my blog page, but I have 197 followers on my personal profile account, which I rarely post to.  I have 176 followers for the blog.  This means 21 of you are not getting my blog posts because you followed me and not my blog.  Recently, I have had notices of four more followers to the profile page and not the blog.  Here’s how to check – sign into Bloglovin’, then go to this link – https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/from-my-carolina-home-11659021 –  and be sure it says ‘following’.  Below is a screen shot of my blog page prior to this post.

Here is my personal profile page that I don’t usually post to or save much to.  You’ll want to click on the blue blog link to get to my blog page.  Mostly what is here is my saved posts from other blogs.  If you want to see this too, that’s great.  I just don’t want you to miss my blog posts, which some of you are, so I am going to save this post to it in the hopes of reaching those readers.

Thank you for following!  I appreciate each and every reader!

In other news, I changed the header to an autumn scene from our veranda taken last year, gorgeous color and I am looking forward to an even better season of color this year.  Come by and see the new look From My Carolina Home.

  1. What a stunning autumn photo! I follow you through WordPress so I’m good 😉

  2. I was receiving your emails but not following on Bloglovin so now I am! On another note, we will be making our biannual trip to the NC mountains from Florida and praying for cooler weather and colorful foliage! Hoping the second week of October will provide both!

  3. Your header photo is beautiful ♥ As much as I hate to see summer end, I do look forward to the fall colors.

  4. I tried that way ,then signed in on email so that’s how I get you

  5. Absolutely gorgeous view! Kevin has been in your part of our world and really wants to take me on a trip during fall to see the beauty. Somehow though with our disabilities getting worse, I doubt that it will ever happen. I have to share with him and show him all of your photos. I am sure glad that I follow your blog correctly! Quite nice of you to make sure and let everyone know how to follow correctly. Yesterday, I finally had the opportunity to sit down and begin putting together the first set of blocks for the mystery. I was sewing right along when I noticed that something was not right…..first, several of my strips the half squares were upside down….several were quickly fixed. After getting the first two strips all sewn together and taking them to the ironing board….no wait, something is not right….once again, somehow while pinning them together ( oh yeah, I am a devoted pinner….hee,hee,hee….) I has flipped the first strip upside down also. Thankfully, hubby gladly helped me rip out half of the strips while I did the other strips. I get them all pinned back together double checking often that it was correct. By this time it is about 7 pm. I sit down to get started sewing again, but my Mother began calling all excited about the moon. Which, I am always thrilled to talk with my mom and the moon was beautiful. After about her 4th call, I gave up sewing all together. So, hopefully later on this afternoon, I can get these first blocks all sewn together and start on the next set of blocks. Yet, today is moms day off and she should be calling soon to decide what she wants to do today and it usually involves hubby and I. LOL. So who knows. Oh my, I have once again written a book. I love to share! Have a wonderful creative day Carole!
